This September, Hakkasan restaurants around the world will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the original Hakkasan in London’s Hanway Place by launching local Only At dishes and cocktails. This special offering will represent the individuality of each restaurant and its location, featuring dishes and cocktails exclusive to each restaurant. The Only At menus celebrate local culture and cuisine, using seasonal ingredients whilst still using Hakkasan’s modern Chinese cooking techniques.
In the fifteen years since the first Hakkasan opened in London, eleven restaurants have opened globally in UK, China, India, US and Middle East.The Only At collection reflect Hakkasan’s ability to innovate and identify new ways to offer guests a unique atmospheric experience.
The Only At menu features dim sum such as Thousand layer puff with sesame, Three style mushroom Guangzhou style bun, Seafood seaweed roll with wolfberry and crab meat sauce followed by Prawn dumpling with Tobiko caviar and gold leaf in superior stock. Small plates and main dishes include Lychee in taro ring with spicy sauce, Spicy black fungus and water chestnut with pak choi and Braised lamb and aubergine claypot drizzled with Shaoxing wine.
Guests can enjoy an eggless dessert exclusively made for the Only At menu in Mumbai; Mango and coconut iced truffle and Dì sān, a dessert cocktail infusing Baileys, Oreo cookies and almond syrup with homemade vanilla ice cream.
The Only At cocktail menu will feature 5 new cocktails to celebrate the intimacy and the cinematic energy of the space. The menu features drinks such as La Vision comprising of rum, pineapple, star anise and kaffir lime and the Sakura with a unique combination of new world Cabernet Sauvignon, French Poire Williamsliqueur, vodka, lychee juice finished with an Orchid flower. Sensei, uses vintage techniques of mixology to infuse cocoa smoke, creating a burst of flavours on the palate.
Inspired by ingredients and flavours inherent to these regions, the Only At dishes and cocktailsshowcase local influences and expertise to create a unique collection. All eleven Hakkasan restaurants will feature a selection of small eats, main dishes, desserts and cocktails that will form the innovative Only At collection. These menus will change twice a year and have a strong emphasis on seasonality, highlighting the originality of each Hakkasan restaurant around the world.
The Only At collection will be available at Hakkasan Mumbai from Monday 26th September.
