TWO FREDERIQUE CONSTANT WATCHES SELECTED FOR THE GPHG 2024
This summer, the 980-strong GPHG Academy nominated 90 of the 273 timepieces entered in this year’s competition by 146 brands. Divided into 15 categories, these watches are in the running to win one of the 20 prizes awarded to the year’s finest watchmaking creations, including the prestigious “Aiguille d’Or” Grand Prix.
The Academy of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) 2024 has made its first selection, choosing 90 watches across 15 categories. Among these 90 watches, two Frederique Constant timepieces have been nominated.

As is customary, the nominated watches will take part in a traveling exhibition. This year, they will be showcased at the following locations:
Hong Kong: September 28-30, 6th Floor The Henderson, in partnership with Christie’s
Ho Chi Minh City: October 9-11, Saigon Opera House, in partnership with The Hour Glass
New York: October 18-21, 60 Greene Street, in partnership with Watches of Switzerland
Geneva: October 30-November 17, Musée Rath

The nominated timepieces and then the prize-winners take part in a travelling exhibition, offering a unique panorama of contemporary watchmaking art. Organised in collaboration with local partners, these exhibitions contribute to promoting watchmaking culture around the world and are accompanied by talks, debates, workshops and other public and private events.
The 90 watches shortlisted this year by our Academy will be exhibited in Hong Kong from 28 to 30 September at Christie’s new headquarters in the heart of the Henderson Building, at the Saigon Opera House in Ho Chi Minh City from 9 to 11 October in partnership with The Hour Glass, in New York from 18 to 21 October at Watches of Switzerland and finally in Geneva from 30 October to 17 November at the MusĂ©e Rath. The Bucharest University Library will host the prize-winners after the awards ceremony, from 21 to 23 November, organised by MisterWatch Magazine.
The 2024 prize list will be announced on Wednesday 13 November at the 24th GPHG awards ceremony, to be held at the Théâtre du Léman in Geneva and broadcast live on gphg.org and by media partners.
