Pedal Boat Facilities at Nam Van Lake to Open on 4th June

Located in the bustling downtown area of Macao, the Nam Van Lake embraces beautiful scenery and fresh air, enabling the citizens to exercise and carry out different leisure sports activities, and enjoy the rhythmic movement of the lake musical fountain. During the Dragon Boat Festival on the Fifth of May of the lunar calendar, the International Dragon Boat Races will also be held at the Nam Van Lake, through which spectators can have a different experience of the exciting atmosphere and cheering moments for the dragon boat athletes.

The Sports Bureau will set up recreational facilities of pedal boats at the “Anim’Arte NAM VAN” and will be open for public use on 4th June. While enjoying the beautiful landscape around the lakeside of Nam Van, public can rent the enchanting swan-shaped double seated pedal boats for a ride on the lake. There are also pedal boats suitable for a family of four, enabling parents and children to exercise together for physical wellness, and enjoy the fun of family bonding. The facilities will be open from Monday to Sunday, including public holidays, from 11:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Rental fees for the double and four -seated pedal boats are MOP 20 and MOP 40 respectively for every 30 minutes. Children between the age of five and twelve can only use the facilities in the company of adults.
